bottle stories, 2.14.06, 2.15.06

this is going to be a longer post. the bottle is sporadic, at best, these days. the days i bring my camera, it's not here; the days i forget my camera, it is. for example, on monday, the bottle was not in its usual space, but on the floor of the bathroom. as the bottle had been absent since last week, i did not bring in my camera and could not chronicle this. tuesday, i brought my camera in, armed to capture this new location, and, the bottle was gone!

however, on tuesday, we had a bottle of a different sort in a different location, and in order to capture something, i took a picture.



the bottle sat in the break area all day on our gray valentine's day, but was gone the next morning. someone, evidently, thought to clean that up.

but, lo and behold, yesterday, a bottle appeared again in the ladies' restroom. back where it belongs.

hopefully a bottle stays put for a while.

in other bottle news, our building has fancy new vending machines from which i can only assume that the bottles (not the two liter, but the standard variety) are issued from. in order to truly capture the essence of the bottle culture, i present you with this view of our new machines. they appeared suddenly yesterday, and caused quite the stir.



perhaps we need more excitement in our office....
