mystery, no more

the bottle mystery has been solved, thus eliminating much of my amusement on the subject. BUT, i did learn a new thing.

my friend aminah explains:

"Before offering the prayer one must be in good shape and pure condition and the worshipper must perform an ablution, washing his face, hands and feet. Also, after natural discharges, the ablution must be renewed for prayer. Water should be applied because the use of toilet tissues may not be sufficient for the purpose of purity and worship."

the bottle is used by muslims who work in the building.
i'm so glad it is used for that and not for consumption.
